Meta-Study

The core definition of a Meta-study is “an analysis conducted across prior analyses or ‘studies’ that constitute ‘cases’ of a common phenomenon” (Magliocca et al., 2014).

For more information about meta-studies in land change science, Magliocca et al. (2014) describe a wide range of research synthesis methods, including meta-study, meta-analysis, and others.

GLOBE includes several collections of cases that were used in prior meta-studies.
