This page describes the different ways to become a contributor of a case (case study) in GLOBE.
Anyone who has an account in GLOBE can contribute a case to GLOBE.
A case contributor can be:
- The author of a case study.
- An expert on the site of the case study (site expert)
- A trained member of the GLOBE team.
- Anyone interested in entering the case study. For example, a researcher conducting a meta-study.
NOTE: The quality of a case study entered into GLOBE can vary by contributor. For this reason, a case’s provenance score depends on the case contributor’s relationship with the case-study data. When a case contributor has direct knowledge of the study site and reported data, this gives a higher provenance score than for cases where the case contributor is not an expert on the case study site and/or data.
