Foundational Data

This page describes the foundational data layers included in GLOBE.

Foundational data layers are data sets that provide georeferenced geometries for existing geographic entities that have been defined external to GLOBE. These geometries can be used with the “Select Existing Geometry” option when creating a case in GLOBE if the study site conforms to an existing administrative boundary or an individual or set of Globe Land Unit(s) (GLUs).
