Description

Percent bare cover calculated from VCF MODIS 2001 bare cover classes. Native resolution is 500 meter projected in Geographic Coordinate System Sinusoidal WGS 1984.

Processing Procedure

1. In ArcMap 10.0, convert GLU gird to Sinusoidal WGS 1984 in 30 arc second resolution.

2. Use zonal statistics to calculate mean values within each GLU.
